Elevating Education: Supporting the Teachers Who Shape the Future
Lisa Cohen & Lianne Kady, Elevated Educators
Behind every thriving classroom is a teacher doing their best, often while juggling exhaustion, behaviour challenges, and never-ending demands.
That’s the reality that inspired Lisa and Lianne, two seasoned educators and co-founders of Elevated Educators. Between them, they share more than 35 years of experience across psychology, teaching, leadership, and learning support. But more importantly, they share a belief: that when teachers are supported, students thrive.
Lianne, a clinical psychologist, has spent her career helping schools understand behaviour through the lenses of emotional regulation, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice. Lisa, with two decades in education and leadership, has seen firsthand how professional learning can transform a school community when it’s practical and sustainable.
Together, they created Elevated Educators to deliver training that treats teacher wellbeing and classroom functioning as one connected system. Their flagship program, Blooming Classrooms, helps educators reconnect with their professional purpose, manage challenging behaviours with confidence, and build psychologically safe learning environments.
Unlike typical training, their approach is relational, evidence-based, and deeply human. It combines online learning, live coaching, and in-school workshops. Designed not just to inspire, but to embed real, lasting change.
To Lisa and Lianne, teacher wellbeing isn’t an add-on, It’s the foundation of everything that happens in a classroom.
As finalists in this year’s Kickstarter Challenge, Lianne and Lisa have already won $7,500 in equity-free funding. Now, they’re preparing to pitch in Parliament House on November 20 for the $30,000 Grand Prize, aiming to scale their impact across Australia.
Because when teachers feel empowered, supported, and valued – everyone wins.
