Kickstarter Challenge 2024 Finalist: Catherine Mary Said

Meet Catherine Mary Said, co-founder of Gooday and the finalist in the Fintech and E-commerce category. Catherine is on a mission to simplify scheduling for both businesses and consumers. Inspired by her own struggles with managing multiple booking systems for services like GP visits and beauty appointments, she developed Gooday to create a more streamlined experience.

Gooday harnesses the power of AI personal assistants to seamlessly sync personal calendars with business bookings, effectively eliminating the chaos of calendar clashes.

“Australians are overwhelmed by the manual process of organising their life admin across various applications. We aim to alleviate much of the stress associated with these tasks, allowing people to reclaim their time and have a Gooday,” she explains.

Catherine’s innovation comes at a crucial moment, as businesses can lose up to 30% of potential revenue due to forgotten appointments. With Gooday, both consumers and businesses can optimise their scheduling and operate more efficiently.

“We understand that missed appointments and last-minute cancellations often occur because clients double-book themselves, leading to significant revenue loss. Our solution addresses this issue directly,” Catherine adds.

Gooday’s platform streamlines appointment management and anticipates user needs by providing reminders and suggesting tasks for upcoming events. Set to launch on January 1, 2025, Gooday aims to take the stress out of life admin, empowering users to focus on what truly matters.

“By providing a mutually beneficial platform, both businesses and consumers can work smarter, not harder.”
